Rosa Thermal Power Project, Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh (UP)

Rosa Township is part of Rosa Thermal Power Project which is a 1200 MW of coal based generation capacity at Rosa village in Shahjahanpur, UP. This Power Plant and Township is owned by India's one of the largest private sector conglomerate Reliance ADAG.

    Rosa Thermal Power Plant is a 1200 MW of coal based generation capacity at Rosa village in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The power plant is being developed and already having become commercially operational on 12 March, 2010. Rosa Township is part of Rosa Thermal Power Plant which is owned by India's leading private sector conglomerate Reliance ADAG.

    Metropark Developers was selected and entrusted amongst stiff competition from renowned Companies vying for this project. The project was purely awarded to MDHi based on its track record of timely execution as well as excellent deliverables.

    Rosa Township is a large township for its employees and directors and MDHi has constructed residential buildings for the project directors and employees, school building, Health centre and shopping centre.

    Rosa Township project is an integrated project with residential, commercial, health centre, Schools catering to employees of Township. Various units built by MDHi were as follows:

Rosa Power Supply Company Limited (RPSCL), the holding company of Rosa Power. It is a project that has received a considerable support from the Uttar Pradesh government with it being designated a 'priority project'.

The construction for the Phase I of the project began in June 2007 and by December 2009 the first unit of the project had started generating power.

The project uses Coal as the primary fuel. The power generated from the plant will be evacuated using the UP state's transmission network. The water required for the power plant is sourced from Garrah river located a kilometer from the project.

The entire 1200 MW plant is being efficiently run and managed by professionally qualified employees and dedicated management.
